Items required to make a design over the phone or handwritten on paper.
To create a design via phone or hand-drawn sketches, we require certain items. Below is the necessary information we need to develop a 3D design for your kitchen:
- Wall-to-wall dimensions.
- Dimension from the sink center to the wall (either right or left side).
- Location of the gas pipe (if applicable for gas stoves).
- Hood location (if already installed).
- Measurement from the floor to the ceiling.
- Window dimensions (outside frame to outside frame).
- Dimensions from the window frame to the adjacent wall (either right or left side).
- Dimensions of all appliances.
- Refrigerator: height, depth, width, and model number.
- Stove: height, depth, width, and model number.
- Dishwasher: height, depth, width, and model number.
A few photographs or videos of the kitchen and bathroom areas would also be helpful.
Tips for Planning your kitchen
- For planning your kitchen, consider starting with a sink positioned under the window. Alongside it, you can have the dishwasher, and on another wall, there’s space for a cooker with a hob.
- Opting for eye-level ovens is a highly popular choice as it enhances accessibility during cooking.
- Islands or walkways should ideally have a minimum clearance of 1m around them to ensure easy access.
- To accommodate a corner post and ensure a well-fitted kitchen, straight corner units require 25.4 inches of space on either side.
